One of the best things about living on your own is the fact that you now have full control of your kitchen. That being said, we have prepared an easy one-dish chicken and rice recipe that you can cook with ease. So, before anything else, you will need to prepare your ingredients. They are as follows:
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
- 3⁄4 cup uncooked long-grain rice
- 1 can of cream of mushroom soup (10 3/4 ounce)
- Half a teaspoon of paprika
- Half a teaspoon of black pepper
- A cup of Water
Cooking this dish is fairly straightforward. First, preheat the oven to 375°F. Then, you will need to mix together the soup, water and rice in a shallow 2-quart casserole. Make sure to put in a quarter teaspoon of paprika and pepper the mixture as well. Put the chicken on top and sprinkle it with the remaining spices then bake for 45 minutes.
You will want to ensure that the chicken is properly cooked. Once that is done, the only thing left to do is enjoy the meal!
